Do you want improved Broadband in Bolney?

Sign up NOW for Better Broadband

More than 4,000 of you have already backed the drive by the ‘Better Connected’ partnership to win faster broadband services for West Sussex. But we need more support especially from smaller communities in rural areas.

What have people done to show support?

Completed a registration form.

Where do I find the form?

Log on to www.westsussex.gov.uk/broadband or pick one up from your local Help Point or Library.

Why is it important to sign up?

To prove to technology suppliers that there is a demand that will make it worth them investing in the infrastructure

Why is it important?

Faster broadband will create jobs and boost the local economy. It will also reduce social isolation and help people to cut their bills by accessing on-line deals and services.

Does signing up guarantee better services?

Communities that demonstrate the strongest support are more likely to be included in the earlier stages of the Broadband improvement programme.
Registering your demand doesn’t commit you to anything but it will help to persuade suppliers it’s worth investing in the county.

We need the evidence for when we start talking to potential suppliers later this year so please sign up NOW!

Hi Bolney folk ,

Peter Hopgood , the fencer based in Tythe Barn, while working on Tuesday 17th April  in Foxhole Lane came back to find his van had been broken into. A black  briefcase containing banking items, paperwork and contact details of all his customers and future work has been stolen, which will cause him great inconvenience

Should any of you be out walking around the village, particularly those of you with dogs  please keep an eye out for this as it may well have been discarded locally in a hedgerow or similar -  while bank cards may be useful to others, and can be replaced , address books, paperwork  and diaries may not be so useful and it is these items which could be discarded amd which Peter is particularly keen to recover

Please  feel free to let other  Bolney Residents know as appropriate , thank you for your help, Peter much appreciates it.
