BURGLARY IN THE STREET - URGENT

UNFORTUNATELY THERE HAS BEEN A BURGLARY IN THE STREET TODAY, BETWEEN 8.30 AND 2PM. TALL TIMBERS, THE WHITE HOUSE ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE STREET JUST BEFORE THE TURN INTO TOP STREET WAS BROKEN INTO , ACCESS BEING GAINED FROM AN UPSTAIRS WINDOW.  IF YOU SAW ANYTHING SUSPICIOUS  AND/OR HAVE HAD ANY DOORSTEP CALLERS TODAY PLEASE CALL PC PRATT ON 101 QUOTING SERIAL NUMBER 1298.

THIS IS AN UNUSUAL OCCURANCE FOR BOLNEY , BUT PLEASE REMEMBER TO LOCK ALL DOORS AND WINDOWS WHEN YOU LEAVE YOUR PROPERTY OR EVEN IF OUT GARDENING OR ENJOYING THE  SUMMER  WEATHER (!!) PLEASE STILL LOCK UP

NEW PARISH COUNCILLORS NEEDED

HELP US TO

 “MAKE A DIFFERENCE”

Your Parish Council works hard to maintain the environment and heritage of the Parish in which we live for the benefit of all of our residents.

The Parish Council partners with both Mid Sussex District Council and West Sussex County Council to ensure that, as far as is possible, we get the correct level of attention and services that we all pay for through our Council Tax.

This role requires a full team of Councillors to ensure that the Parish Council can continue to be proactive in meeting the needs and aspirations of our parishioners.

We currently have two vacancies on the Parish Council that need to be filled by committed individuals who are keen to help us in making progress with our plans and to “Make a Difference” for Bolney.

If you would like to discuss what being a Councillor entails then I can put you in touch with one of the Councillors will be happy to have an informal chat with you, or why not come along to a Parish Council meeting to see for yourself, every third Tuesday of the month at 8.00pm in the Rawson Hall.

Have your say on the West Sussex Waste Local Plan

West Sussex are currently consulting on their draft Waste Local Plan. 

The plan includes a site in Mid Sussex; 'Land west of Wastewater Treatment Works, Goddards Green'. 

This site is considered suitable for a built waste facility or recycling of inert waste (e.g. soil and rubble).

The marquees for village day are being erected on  Friday 6th July at 6pm on Bachelors Field -any help you can give would be much appreciated...........
Setting up is from 9 am on the 7th, and clearing up after the barn dance and on the following morning is also needed. PLEASE PLEASE give your support to what is a wonderful village event
